Beatrice of Portugal was born

While Philip and Joanna had a rough patch in their relationship things couldn’t go better for Manuel I and Maria of Aragon. They already had two children  prince John III and infanta Isabella of Portugal. On 31 december 1504 they had a third child, a daughter named Beatrice of Portugal.

Here you see Beatrice together with her sister Isabella of Portugal and their mom Maria of Aragon praying in front of Jesus.
